What is the Ready for School program?
Ready for School is for prospective Kinder enrolments.
Kids are allocated an older student from the Ready for School Buddy Leadership Team who will become a contact person for each visit and into their first year at school.

Ready for School orientation sessions
Phase 1 - Ignite
Kindergarten Information Session
We will hold an information session for carers during our Phase 1 visit on
Wednesday 3 July @ 9.30am -10.30am
Phase 2 - Connect
Wednesday 28 August @ 9.30-10.30am- Literacy on the Lawn (children & parent/carers)
Wednesday 25 September @ 9.30-10.30am - Kindy in action (children & parent/carers)
Phase 3 - Build
Tuesday 3rd & Wednesday 4th December @9.30-12.00pm
(Children only. Please bring a hat, water bottle & snack)

Our program is unique and dynamic. It is comprehensive in the range of learning experiences it offers. It is customised for each child through its Ready for School support pack. Another feature is the early involvement of the school's Buddy Leadership Team, where each pre-school child is allocated an older buddy for the duration of the program and into the next year. Our proven record of success for children and their families, and the positive feedback received, show this is a highly valued, innovative & popular program.
Our program taps into the on-going curiosity, love of learning and individual capacities that young children bring to the school experience-elements that are highly valued & nurtured at our school through our quality teaching & learning practices. It showcases for kids & their families the genuine community spirit and sense of collaboration & team-work that our school is so well known for, as well as its forward-thinking approach to meaningful, inclusive & engaged learning in the 21st century.
