Transition to Lewisham

Transition To Lewisham is a series of visits, events and experiences over 3 school terms, that help to engage children in the process of becoming part of our school community in the year prior to starting school with us. It begins to build the positive relationships that form the foundation for quality learning at the school.

As this program has become very popular in recent times, it is recommended that parents register early to ensure a placement for their child. Transition visits occur at our school in Terms 2, 3 and 4 following information sessions for parents, visits and the completion of an enrolment application form.

It is possible to register for the Transition To School program throughout the year, on the completion of an enrolment application form. Attendance at all transition visits is highly recommended to further build friendships and understandings of school life.

How do we register for the Transition To School program?

To register for all or part of the program you are required to attend an information session, complete school enrolment procedures for your child and to have lodged the enrolment form with us. This places you on our Transition To Lewisham database and we keep you and your child updated on events on a regular basis.

This process can occur any time throughout the year prior to your child starting school with us, but is recommended as early as possible so as to best support your child in getting to know us and forming positive relationships with other children and teachers.

Starting school is such an exciting time. Our professional, caring and experienced staff look forward to welcoming you and your child and helping to make the transition to school a happy time for everyone. Phone us or email for more details.
